Application Solutions for Environmental Protection and Pollution Monitoring Systems
Case Details
Progress made by local governments
To effectively improve the standardized operation of pollution control facilities among key enterprises in the district and to achieve comprehensive, differentiated, and refined management of production and pollutant emissions, the District Environmental Protection Bureau recently convened a meeting with 39 key entities—including enterprises on the air quality emergency control list, large-scale catering businesses, sewage treatment plants with a daily capacity exceeding 3,000 tons, and direct-discharge enterprises—to make key arrangements for the implementation of a power consumption monitoring system for pollution control facilities.
This monitoring system establishes checkpoints on the pollution-generating and pollution-control equipment of discharging enterprises, enabling continuous, 24-hour monitoring of power consumption data and operational status. Both regulatory authorities and the enterprises themselves can track the operational status of these facilities in real-time via mobile apps and desktop interfaces; the platform automatically issues alerts in the event of operational changes or significant fluctuations in power consumption. Monitoring the power usage of pollution control facilities not only promotes standardized equipment operation and provides an effective technical means for the digital management of environmental facilities, but also offers regulators an innovative approach to inspection and enforcement, thereby enhancing regulatory efficiency and case initiation rates while ensuring greater objectivity and impartiality in law enforcement.
The District Environmental Protection Bureau has mandated that all enterprises—particularly key players in sectors such as thermal power, iron and steel, and building materials that are included in the air quality emergency control list—immediately initiate the installation and network integration of the power consumption monitoring system, with completion required by the end of the year. Additionally, the Bureau invited technical experts to brief the attendees on key topics of interest, such as the layout of monitoring checkpoints, the estimated number of checkpoints required, and the costs associated with network integration.
System overview
The office address of Zhejiang Yonghe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is located in Zhensheng Road, Changshan County Ecological Industrial Park, Quzhou, the hometown of citrus in China and the hometown of honey in China. It was registered with the Changshan County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau on June 15, 2006, with a registered capital of 6.58 million yuan. Its public company The company is mainly engaged in the research and development of new material technology; the manufacturing and sales of pigments; the manufacturing and sales of potassium dihydrogen phosphate and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate; the sales of pharmaceutical intermediates, light calcium carbonate, and heavy calcium carbonate; the import and export of goods, and the import and export of technology (operating with a license within the scope of national laws and regulations).
This project is an intelligent environmental protection pollution control monitoring system designed for Zhejiang Yonghe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. By installing an energy consumption monitoring module, this system can conduct real-time dynamic monitoring of the power consumption, time-sharing load, abnormal power consumption, etc. of the pollution control facilities of the pollution-discharging enterprises to achieve real-time monitoring, early warning, analysis and management of the company's output, production suspension, production limit, power consumption and unauthorized shutdown and low-load operation of pollution control facilities.

Key System Functions
Platform Homepage:
The platform homepage displays the enterprise overview, electricity consumption statistics, and bar charts showing the operational status of pollution-generating facilities and pollution control facilities, as shown in the figure:

Through correlation analysis and start/stop timing analysis, the system promptly detects anomalies such as environmental control equipment failing to start, shutting down unexpectedly, or operating in states like idling, slowing down, or running at reduced frequency. Additionally, data analysis enables real-time monitoring of the operational status of enterprises subject to production limits or mandatory shutdowns for remediation, as shown in the figure:
The platform supports apps for both Android and iOS systems, enabling users to perform functions such as industry or enterprise searches, alarm and fault inquiries, real-time monitoring data checks, circuit-breaking operations, and detector detail lookups. As shown in the figure:
