The DDZY1218-Z single-phase smart energy meter is a next-generation electricity meter developed by our company in accordance with technical specifications for smart meters established by the State Grid Corporation. Designed to comply with GB/T 17215.321-2021 and DL/T 645-2007 standards, this product utilizes dedicated large-scale integrated circuits and SMT manufacturing processes, featuring comprehensive functions including energy metering, data processing, real-time monitoring, automated control, and information exchange.

The voltage sampling circuit adopts the voltage divider method.

Working principle 

During operation, the electricity meter collects voltage and current samples through dedicated sampling circuits. These signals are processed by a specialized integrated circuit for energy measurement, converted into digital signals, and transmitted to a microprocessor for computation. The microprocessor in the system handles time-of-use billing and manages various input/output operations. By capturing electrical energy pulses from the integrated circuit, it performs time-of-use active energy measurement. The microprocessor displays operational data as needed, facilitates communication via infrared or 485 interfaces, and records and stores all relevant information.

Functional description

Measuring functions

It has the function of measuring forward and reverse active power, can store its data, and can set combined active power accordingly.

It has the time-sharing metering function, and the active power energy is accumulated according to the corresponding time periods, and the total, peak, peak, flat and valley power energy is stored.

Store the total electric energy of the last 12 months and the electric energy of each rate; the data storage time limit is 24:00 at the end of the month, or the integer time between the 1st and 28th of each month.

Measurement and monitoring

It can measure, record and display the voltage, current (including neutral line current), power, power factor and other operating parameters of the current electricity meter. The measurement error (reference error) is not more than±1%.

Time-sharing billing function

There are two sets of rate schedules, which can be automatically converted at the agreed time; each set of rates supports 4 rates.

It has a calendar and clock, and can set two time zones in a year. You can program 14 periods in 24 hours at will. The minimum interval of periods is 15min, and the periods can be set across zero points. It supports setting special rate periods for holidays and public holidays.

There are two sets of rates and periods that can be programmed at will, and the other set of rates and periods can be activated at a set time.

The time setting method is referred to in the relevant standard DL/T645-2007 Communication Protocol for Multi-function Electric Energy Meters.

In the time-sharing metering mode, the meter determines the current rate based on the current set annual time zone meter, daily time period meter, weekly holiday status word and holiday Settings. The minimum metering unit is 0.01KWh.

Settlement function

A maximum of three settlement points can be set per month for processing transactions, with historical data recording covering the past 12 settlements. The LCD screen displays records from the last two settlement periods. The meter allows setting settlement times for any date within the 01/28 calendar cycle.

When the meter clock and settlement date are the same, the meter settles the account and deposits the current amount into the previous one.

Incident Records

The power meter shall permanently record the occurrence time of the zeroing event and the electric energy data during the zeroing.

Record the total number of programming times, the time of the last 10 programming, operator code and data identification of programming items.

Record the total number of clock setting times (excluding broadcast clock setting), the time of the last 10 clock setting times and operator code.

Record the total number of power outages and the time when the last 10 power outages occurred and ended.

Record the last 10 remote control opening and closing events, record the time of opening and closing events and electric energy data.

Record the total number of times the cover is opened, and the occurrence and end time of the last 10 times the cover is opened.

Display function

The electricity meter in this section can display the following information:

Monthly cumulative electricity consumption of the current month and last month;

The cumulative electric energy value of each rate and the total cumulative electric energy value;

Current time;

Alarm code or instruction;

Communication status prompt;

The meter number of the electricity meter.

The power display has 8 digits, including 2 decimal places.

LCD backlight wake up mode, using button wake up mode; under normal use, the life of LCD is not less than 10 years.

The display can be awakened by pressing the button during power failure; if no operation is performed after waking up, the LCD will automatically display a cycle and then automatically close; the display will automatically close 30 seconds after the operation ends.

 

Alarm function

Overpower alarm

When the total power of the user exceeds the preset power limit continuously within the setting time (default 30 seconds), the alarm light will be lit and the electricity meter will cut off the power load.
