Case Details
We have developed an information-based management system solution for agricultural irrigation electricity. This system enables users to directly benefit from preferential electricity pricing policies for agricultural irrigation and drainage; it not only reduces irrigation electricity costs but also makes the use of electricity for irrigation safer, more convenient, and more reliable. The overall system architecture is illustrated in the diagram below:

System Composition
The agricultural irrigation and drainage power sales management system consists of three components: the terminal equipment layer, the data communication layer, and the management layer. These components work collaboratively to fulfill the system's functions.
Terminal Equipment Layer
This layer comprises agricultural irrigation and drainage units, which utilize public prepaid electricity meters to facilitate power sales by reading purchased energy data from IC cards.
Data Communication Layer
This layer uses IC cards as the medium for data exchange, acting as a bridge between the terminal equipment layer and the management layer to link power purchasing and sales processes.
Management Layer
This layer consists of the master station system, which handles tasks such as selling power via IC cards, entering account records, and printing reports.
Solution Features
★ Maturity: The master station software is developed using mainstream, mature platform technologies and supports open system upgrades. It enables localized electricity and water usage for individual farmers with dispersed irrigation areas (supporting "one card, multiple meters" and "one meter, multiple cards" configurations).
★ Security: Independent access rights are assigned to each operational function, and strict password management protocols are established to ensure the security of both system and application software. Security management for data exchange between the master station and IC cards includes effective encryption, data compression, and access authentication.
★ Maintainability: The software prioritizes practicality, featuring a clear user interface and simple, convenient operation. Its modular structure ensures ease of maintenance.
★ Scalability: The software meets current management needs while allowing for easy functional expansion to accommodate future management requirements as power marketing automation evolves.
